Full Pallet X-Ray Screening: GS150180 Buyer Checklist

Full pallet X-ray screening lets an operator inspect palletized cargo, large crates and heavy freight without breaking the load down. The first question for any project is whether your largest load physically fits and whether the system can image it clearly. This checklist uses the published specifications of the GS150180 X-Ray Pallet Cargo Inspection System.

Does your largest pallet fit?

Measure your largest loaded pallet, including wrapping and any overhang, against the 1500 mm (W) × 1800 mm (H) tunnel. Check the weight against the conveyor load capacity of 2000 kg, and plan your loading equipment around the 350 mm conveyor height.

Can it image what you ship?

ItemGS150180 published value
X-ray generatorSingle generator, 160 kV / 180 kV / 200 kV optional
Steel penetrationUp to 38–43 mm (typical)
Spatial resolution1.3 mm horizontal and vertical
DetectorL-shaped array, 3712 channels
Conveyor speed0.22 m/s, bi-directional

Dense or mixed loads are the deciding case. If your cargo is mostly dense, tell us the materials so the generator option can be discussed for your load.

How will operators work with it?

The system includes material classification (organic, inorganic, mixed), suspicious object highlighting and alarm, automatic explosives and narcotics detection, Threat Image Projection for operator training, and storage of up to 50,000 images.
